China was leading the world in naval power in the 15th century with the expeditions of Zheng He. If they hadn\u2019t stopped, they might have dominated global trade long before European colonial powers emerged. I wonder if we\u2019d see more Asian-influenced cultures throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and maybe even the Americas.
